ConflictIRC Network Services
ChanServ (CS) ChanServ allows you to register and control various aspects of channels. ChanServ can often prevent malicious users from "taking over" channels by limiting who is allowed channel operator privileges. Available commands are listed below; to use them, type /msg ChanServ command. For more information on a specific command, type /msg ChanServ HELP command. BotServ (BS) BotServ allows you to have a bot on your own channel. It has been created for users that can't host or configure a bot, or for use on networks that don't allow users' bot. Available commands are listed below; to use them, type /msg BotServ command. For more information on a specific command, type /msg BotServ HELP command. HostServ (HS) HostServ allows you to request a vHost (Virtual Host) that sends all oper's a notice that you have requested one. It then allows us (opers) to check the vHost to approve it of nothing violating our rules. Once the vHost is activated, you can hide your regular hostmask so it shows like this in a whois of your nick: "Your-Nickname~Username@your.vhost.here". For more information, type "/msg HostServ help". MemoServ (MS) MemoServ is a utility allowing IRC users to send short messages to other IRC users, whether they are online at the time or not, or to channels(*). Both the sender's nickname and the target nickname or channel must be registered in order to send a memo. NickServ (NS) NickServ allows you to "register" a nickname and prevent others from using it. The following commands allow for registration and maintenance of nicknames; to use them, type /msg NickServ command. For more information on a specific command, type /msg NickServ HELP command. OperServ (OS) OperServ allows us to administrate the network to keep it well maintained by removing users or other features to support the server to a full extent. OperServ offers many many more features for opers to administrate the server. ConflictIRC (Global) Global sends users the important messages that are meant to inform them in the proper way. It also sends opers messages that contain valuable information. NeoStats NeoStats are custom made services that offer more services to increase security and features. Such new services are as follows: |
